Types of ceremonies

Civil Wedding
All weddings with legal validity must take place on a local authority property (i.e. a town hall) or a venue which has obtained a legal license to hold a wedding ceremony. There are a number of locations for your civil ceremony across the various towns, many offering outdoor ceremonies with fabulous views.
Symbolic Wedding
Symbolic ceremonies are becoming increasingly popular every year in Italy. They do not have legal requirements and they can be arranged anywhere in Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, a charming villa on top of the sea, a hotel with sea view terrace and even on a private beach!
Religious Wedding (Catholic, Protestant)
The wedding ceremony takes place in a church of your choice. For this it is necessary that both partners are members of that church.
